Amnesiac Hero: Ja-Yoon remembers nothing about her past as a lab experiment, and the movie is about her rediscovering the dark truths of what was done to her.In reality, the gentle girl was just an act from the beginning, and she framed her moments of self-defense as an example of this to make herself appear vulnerable to those she was manipulating. Even an average Korean thriller will put most Hollywood thriller to shame. I watched all types of movie internationally, but I always come back to Korean film for added actions, drama and did I mentioned they make the best thrillers out there. Yeah sure, I'm a somewhat self proclaimed Korean movie and Kdrama expert. The Man From Nowhere ( Hand down the best action movie in the last decade, great acting by the main lead who won the Korean version of the Oscar for best actor and basically quit acting after that. No Mercy (2010 - One of the best twist in a thriller) My Sassy Girl (comedy but in Korean style it has a unique twist at the end)ħ Days ( Another hidden gem of a thriller) Montage ( a hidden gem, probably one of the best thriller ever made) Memories of Murder (Same director as Parasite and arguably a better film too) Here are my recommended Korean film covering many genre but mostly thrillers and there are some of them that you see mentioned many times before but you might find some gem in this list.
